In the equestrian world it is now generally understood how much of an impact good or poor saddle fit can make on our horses; however, bridle fit is often overlooked.
We now have a much better understanding on how important bridle fit is and the impact of poor fitting bridles. Horses have many sensitive structures in the face and research now shows that bridles with buckles or nosebands which interfere with these structures can impact on the horses welfare and in turn impact on its way of going.
Bridle fitting
A bridle fitting consultation will last around 45 minutes.
During this consultation, the horses head is assessed, we look at proportions, asymmetries, what you do with your horse and how your horse responds.
It is about finding the right fit and solution that best suits you, your horse and what you need to do.
This can be with your own bridle, recommendations of bridles available on the market or made to measure from myself.
Made to Measure
Made to measure is the perfect way to ensure your horses bridle fits as best as it can. Perfect for any horse or pony which does not fit an "off the peg" option.
As part of a bridle fitting consultation, I will take measurements to ensure the fit is correct.
All my bridles are hand stitched and made to your design requirements, which is also discussed during consultation.
I use the highest quality English leather from Sedgewicks and I use top quality buckles and fittings.
Prices start from £250.00 for a plain hunter bridle but are all quoted for individually.
